Andy and the Lens

I love creating shots through a lens to help move an audience. 

Most of my work life has revolved around visual storytelling from videos to photos. It all began after turning down the opportunity to work in the family business of funeral services in the North East of England. I graduated in 2005 with a media production BA hons then worked my way up to steadicam operator in feature films and commercials while making my move to Surrey just outside of London. 

 

My experience in camera department as a specialist moving camera operator helped me understand the value of making shots have an impact and the collaboration that can enrich that. My interest behind the camera never faded as after an injury and a short career break it connected me with my love of food and people to provide value in creating content for the food and hospitality industry by helping showcase the passionate people, hard work and creativity that goes into it.
